Séduit par le Mind Mapping

Tous les "knowledge workers" sont confrontés à la même problématique : comment synthétiser rapidement et efficacement l'information. Cette question pourrait d'ailleurs être élargie à comment représenter, cartographier et hiérarchiser l'information avant de la diffuser.
Nous sommes au quotidien confrontés à ces situations : prendre des notes en réunion, rédiger des comptes-rendus et transmettre la restitution. La difficulté n'est pas tant de capter les données et les messages associés mais plutôt de les restituer et les diffuser avec le plus d'efficacité tout en évitant les longs discours.
Pour y parvenir, il y a la technique de "la synthèse qui tient en une page" avec le minimum de phrases et un maximum de puces et autres tirets. En général, il faut appliquer la règle "pas plus d'un idée par tiret". Ce document a de forte chance d'être lu mais il contient peu de détails qui pourront cependant être explicités dans un autre document plus complet...pour ceux que cela intéresse. Mais là encore, il faut fournir un gros effort et beaucoup de temps pour atteindre l'information.
La technique du schéma est un autre moyen efficace et synthétique pour faire passer et retenir un message. Mais là encore, on se limite aux grandes tendances et à l'essentiel sans parvenir à l'exhaustivité et le détail. Le schéma souffre également d'un certaine lourdeur s'il faut le mettre à jour rapidement.
J'ai découvert très récemment le principe des cartes heuristiques et plus particulièrement du Mind Mapping. L'enjeu était de taille : faire tenir sur une page A4 une hiérahisation d'idées et leur détail à partir d'une question centrale.
